Matthew first started dancing in 2009 and in 2014, received his BFA in Dance Performance/Choreography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, After graduating in 2014, he relocated to Washington D.C. to perform and choreograph for various dance companies and train under the instruction of various renowned dance artists throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He is also artistic director of MARO Movement and has choreographed his own works for various festivals and events along the East coast. Exploring human nature, personal experiences, and current and past events through athleticism and artistry largely inspire his works. Matthew hopes to continue to grow and expand his knowledge as an artist, sharing his experiences and voice through a movement medium and promote social change.

Megan Ross dabbles in movement that is quirky and confident. Her work has been presented at LooseLeaves Showcase in Charlotte, NC; 5th Annual Richmond Dance Festival in Richmond, VA; American College Dance Association in Randolph, NJ; Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA; and the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, AL. Currently Megan is creating and performing in Durham, North Carolina; dancing with the KT Collective; teaching ballet and contemporary at Barriskill Dance Theatre School; and completing her pilates teacher training at InsideOut Body Therapies.

Megan Yankee is a Mestizx-American dancer/choreographer, movement educator, and arts administrator based in Durham, NC. Her movement lineage is comprised of an eclectic mix of contemporary dance techniques, gymnastics, colorguard, contact improvisation, as well as somatic and releasing techniques. She holds an MFA from Texas Woman’s University. She prioritizes welcoming people of all income, experience and ability levels, ages, heritages, and walks of life into the dance world. Megan is currently developing a politically-charged solo evening-length performance titled Qué gringa, que gringa.
